Farmington Country Manor resident, Edward Kiesewetter, has taken it upon himself to begin a candy bar fundraiser within the facility. His target amount is nearly $4,000 and his goal is to purchase a NuStep TRS4000. But Ed doesn't want to raise this money to buy the NuStep for himself, his plan is to make this diverse piece of equipment available to all of Farmington Country Manor's residents. The NuStep TRS4000 is specifically designed to accommodate almost every body size and level of function. The machine itself is extraordinary and is designed to be used for: Orthopedic rehab, joint pain, stroke victim recovery, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, cerebral palsy, weight loss, lower and upper body muscle deficiencies and much more.
The staff of Farmington Country Manor has embraced Ed's dream and with the support of the Administrator Jennifer Wilder everyone is working together to add the NuStep TRS4000 to their already very impressive therapy department. Over the next several months, or however long it takes, FCM will be having fund raisers in order to purchase this machine. It is all worth it if they can enhance the lives of their current residents and residents of the future. They are asking for donations from the community to turn this dream into a reality.
