This young man gave us such JOY on the day we captured him dancing in the parking lot with his “girl”. He told us he hadn’t danced in 50 years and was so greatful for our care! Isn’t that awesome?!!
We couldn’t keep this story to ourselves. This fellow broke his hip then after the doc repaired it he dislocated the same hip. He came to us restricted to bedrest for 30 days. You can imagine the gloom in this man’s life totally dependent on others to take care of practically all of his needs. Once the docs gave their okay the next 45 days began to shed some hope. Our skilled therapeutic interventions and interdisciplinary care began to help this man regain some mobility despite his intense fear and limitations that prevented him from standing on that leg. Finally, just two weeks ago, with the docs okay, he was able to stand up! And now, he’s walking a distance of 70 feet. THAT EXCITES US!!
